A Wonderful Day at the Theatre Thanks to Arts Council of Wales and Ffrindiau YGT
We are thrilled to share the fantastic experience our pupils from Reception to Year 3 enjoyed recently! Thanks to the generous support of the Arts Council of Wales ‘Go See’ grant, our learners had the incredible opportunity to visit the Chepstow Drill Hall and watch the travelling performance of ‘Biwti & Brogs’ by the talented team at Sherman Theatre. This was a professional Welsh-language production, giving our pupils the chance to experience live theatre in Welsh—a brilliant way to celebrate and strengthen our cultural heritage while having fun. The performance was full of energy, creativity, and imagination—sparking curiosity and bringing the magic of live theatre to life for our youngest pupils. Laughter, excitement, and wide-eyed wonder filled the hall as the children immersed themselves in this unforgettable cultural experience. We are also deeply grateful to our amazing PTA, Ffrindiau YGT, whose contribution, combined with the grant, meant we could offer this trip completely free of charge to all families. This partnership ensured that every child could take part without any financial barriers—a true example of community spirit at its best. A huge thank you to everyone who made this possible
